"The Apple Tree Blossoms in the Fall is a fascinating story! It transported me to a time and place where human relationships and habits were different from today."

The Islamic revolution is imminent. Carineh, an Armenian beauty, knows it is time to leave Iran. The country she grew up in is drawing back to its Islamic roots. Carineh would vehemently hate to wear a veil, to the point that she is willing to say goodbye to her homeland, her father’s resting place, her family and friends.

In The Apple Tree Blossoms in the Fall, Carineh narrates stories of her life in an Iran before Ayatollah’s time. She also recounts tales about her new life in Europe and America. This book offers a unique insight into Iran, Islam, Armenian culture, and the fascinating life of a jet-setting woman.

“Inspiring, light-hearted fantasy novel. Great for the soul
Planet Heaven, a total replica of Earth where I can choose where to live, travel at the speed of light, meet my long gone relatives, friends, pets and look forward to seeing my loved ones when their turn comes. This book's description of Planet Heaven is chicken soup for the soul!"

What if after death, we find ourselves on a planet that is the exact replica of Heaven?

Let’s call it Planet Heaven. On this planet, there would be seven continents and the same countries as on our own planet. Up there, we would move at the speed of light and come across all the people that we know here on Earth. Yes, it’s a place of goodness, but even there, evil lurks in the dark corners. That’s were Martha finds herself after attending her own funeral. On Planet Heaven, accompanied by her uncle and her childhood pet, a witty German shepherd, she sets out to find Gorges Bizet, the nineteenth-century French composer who died young after his opera Carmen was mercilessly trashed by critics on its opening night. Martha wants to bring Bizet news of his great fame after his death, as well as to let him know how Carmen has become one of the most popular operas on Earth. Little does Martha know that she is about to dive head-first into the mysterious and risky adventure.

Armineh Ohanian Accepted as Goodreads author

I was so happy to be accepted to be one of Goodreads authors. I participated in their book giveaway program.
I participated in a giveaway program of Goodreads in February with my “Nine Years to Freedom,” and “The Apple Tree Blossoms in the Fall.” I tried to give away three copies of “The Apple Tree Blossoms in the Fall,” choosing only the US and the UK. 780 people participated. With “Nine Years to Freedom,” I decided to give only one copy and choose readers in the US and a few other different countries. 1081 people showed interest in reading my book. I sent out the books to the winners, and am impatiently waiting to read their reviews on Goodreads. I think authors should try the giveaway program on Goodreads, if they haven’t already done so, it is a good way of getting one’s name out.

“Wonderful fables for children. The talking animals has been used to help the fourth graders of East Quogue elementary school in NY with the analysis of Folk tales for their state Language, Art and Reading tests."

Armineh sent her first children’s story anonymously to Noor Jahan Presbyterian Magazine at the age of fifteen in Tehran. She impatiently waited for a whole month to see her story printed in the center page of the Noor Jahan Magazine. Armineh continued sending in more stories for a year, by merely signing her initials, before she was discovered and her stories published in a hardcover book. “The Talking Animals” has been used to help the fourth graders at East Quogue Elementary School in N.Y. with the analysis of folk tales for their State Language, Art and Reading test. Armineh has a novel called “Dreaming of America” also available through Amazon.
